Highlights of my Research Career Include:

• A dedicated researcher and internationally published academic with a specialisation in Suicide and Mental Health, Military and Service History and Mental Health, Medicine and Public Health, Gender and Power, and Social Work.

• Extensive academic and teaching experience within several organisations with specialisms in research methods, quantitative and qualitative analysis ( SPSS, Excel), as well as a Fellowship with the Higher Educational Academy.

• Several articles published in the media including pieces in Time Magazine, The Independent, and The Conversation.

• Currently researching British Military mental health and suicide 1900-2020, also published on a range of topics in cultural, medical, and military history with focuses on age, gender, suicide, power, society, and literary culture.
