Hi There,

I’m Dr Simon Harold Walker, Senior Research Lead / Senior Resesrch Associate for the Healthy Working Lives Group at the University of Glasgow. I’m a Suicidologist, a Historian, a Sociologist, and a Occupational Health Research Specialist. (Please delete as applicable for how i introduced myself when we chatted 😀).

A brief overview of my experience, skills, and projects

Suicide: over the last 8 years develop significant experience in suicide prevention and suicidality prevention. Currently publishing a book “Silent Voices” on military suicide with Palgrave Mcmillian. Due 2025. Current research project – RESUME: Research into Nursing Suicide recognition and Prevention.
